Cheapest listing versus tradable listing in CS2 markets

Two different questions

“What is the lowest observed price?” and “What can I acquire and use under my constraints?” are not always the same question. Trade locks, marketplace rules, fees, currency conversion, and listing freshness can change which answer matters.

How to make the comparison

Match the item identity, quality, and wear first. Then check tradability and the actual destination. A marketplace label alone is insufficient if one link represents an exact listing while another opens a broader search surface.

• Review fees and settlement currency.
• Recheck availability before acting.

Use totals as planning context

A full loadout total is best used to compare design alternatives. It should not be treated as a guaranteed checkout basket assembled across multiple independent marketplaces. When the decision is close, open the expensive items individually and verify the listings that drive the difference.
